GWS employs passionate staff, dedicated to providing close support and continua service improvement to their business community.
The City Council was instrumental in enabling Great Western Studios to develop a 60,000 sq ft new facility, helping to broker the development opportunity and providing commercial loan and conditional grant funding.
GWS was built on the site of a disused former paint factory in the Westbourne ward of Westminster. It was designed and built in just 39 weeks at below industry average costs – a remarkable achievement, testament to the dedication and skill of the owners (brothers Simon and Nick Kirkham) and the construction team (Readie Construction).
We will be working with GWS over the next year to explore in more depth the economic impact of the project and some of the creative business stories to emerge from the space.
